After working in several places in Germany, including alongside the world-renowned top chef Lothar Eiermann, Jörg Richter managed renowned hotel restaurants in Tokyo, Singapore, Stockholm, Bern and Frankfurt.

In 2004 he seized the opportunity to become kitchen director at the Steigenberger Hotel Der Sonnenhof and to develop the CALLA restaurant entirely according to his ideas and experience.

He combines the special features of Asian and European food cultures to create his own style, which is both innovative and exclusive. "The interplay of top domestic products and intense flavours of Asian cuisine has always fascinated me," says Jörg Richter.
