When accompanied by an adult, children are warmly welcome to enjoy our spacious water area daily until 3 p.m. - Guests aged 16 and above:
From 3 p.m., the entire Sonnenhof SPA (indoor water area, outdoor pool, sunbathing lawn, fitness room) becomes a quiet zone reserved exclusively for adult guests and teens aged 16 and older.
Our tip for families: To help you make the most of your SPA time, we are happy to offer, subject to availability, a complimentary early check-in from 10 a.m. or a late check-out until 3 p.m.
Yes, dogs are warmly welcome at the Sonnenhof. To ensure a pleasant stay for you, your dog, and all other guests, we kindly ask you to observe the following guidelines:
Costs and Fees
- Overnight stay per dog: €15.00 per night
- Final cleaning: A one-time cleaning fee of €40.00 per room will be charged at the end of your stay.
Rooms and Stay
- Room categories for guests with dogs: We offer dedicated ground-floor rooms and Comfort Rooms on the first floor for guests traveling with dogs. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing your dog.
- Room cleaning: Our housekeeping team will gladly clean your room either while you are present or while you're out with your dog. Please inform us of your preferred time.
Freedom of movement on hotel grounds
You are welcome to move freely around the hotel grounds with your dog. However, please note that dogs are not permitted in the following areas:
- All restaurants
- Event rooms
- The sunbathing lawn in the wellness area
You can reach us easily and directly via the A96 motorway, exit "Bad Wörishofen." Once in town, simply follow the red hotel route signs, which will guide you to the Sonnenhof within a few minutes.
The renovation of the main building has been ongoing for over two years, and we would like to thank you for your understanding and flexibility during this time.
Those of you who have been guests at the Sonnenhof in recent weeks have already been able to drive up to our fantastic new main entrance and experience a whole new arrival experience. The new Smart Studios and Studio Apartments in the main building opened this week. Come and experience the incredibly beautiful view from the spacious and modern rooms for yourself.
This means that the renovation is almost complete. In a final step, various offices in the transition area behind the reception to the INSPIRA conference center will be converted from November 3, 2025. We will therefore be closing this passageway from November 3, 2025, until December 19, 2025. The conference center can still be accessed via the outside doors and the connecting corridor on the first floor. We kindly ask all guests not to use the small underground car park below the INSPIRA conference center during this time.

Our two underground garages provide ample parking spaces. The cost is €18 per night. - Free outdoor parking:
A few free parking spaces with no time restrictions are available in the immediate vicinity of the Sonnenhof. - EV charging stations:
Two charging stations (Type 2) with a total of four connectors (max. 22 kW) are available at the INSPIRA outdoor parking area. Activation is possible with all common charging cards.
Yes, if you arrive by train, we offer the following shuttle options:
- Free shuttle:
With advance notice, we are happy to pick you up free of charge from the Bad Wörishofen, Türkheim, or Buchloe train stations. - Paid transfer:
For all other stations, we will gladly organize a transfer for you via our trusted shuttle partner (subject to a fee).

Use of the SPA area on arrival:
As the changing facilities are located in your room, you can use our SPA area as soon as your room is ready for you.

Subject to availability, we offer various late check-out options upon request. We recommend inquiring about this when making your reservation or directly at the reception upon arrival.
All persons aged 16 and over are subject to the tourist tax, unless staying for professional reasons or exempt by official documentation.
